SUMMARY

The Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) values for 1/4 ID Weatherhead hose are not readily available online. However, the manufacturer confirmed that the pressure rating of the hose remains constant throughout its temperature range. Additionally, the temperature range is designed with a safety factor of 1, ensuring reliability under specified conditions.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) concepts
  • Familiarity with hose specifications and ratings
  • Knowledge of safety factors in engineering
  • Basic understanding of manufacturer guidelines and standards
NEXT STEPS
  • Research the Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) standards for various hose materials
  • Investigate the pressure rating specifications for Weatherhead hoses
  • Explore safety factor calculations in engineering applications
  • Review manufacturer guidelines for hose performance under temperature variations
USEFUL FOR

Engineers, manufacturers, and technicians involved in the selection and application of hoses in temperature-sensitive environments will benefit from this discussion.

Nevermind. Got ahold of the manufacturer. Pressure rating remains constant through temperature range. Temperature range has a safety factor of 1.
