AI Thread Summary
A user is seeking assistance in creating a simulation of stone skipping, preferably in Flash or 3D modeling formats like 3ds Max or Maya. Responses include references to academic articles that discuss the physics behind stone skipping, suggesting that the user could use these as a foundation for their project. It is noted that approximating the simulation based on intuition may be sufficient, as the complexities of stone skipping are not fully understood. The discussion emphasizes the feasibility of a simplified approach rather than a highly technical simulation. Overall, the conversation highlights the balance between accuracy and practicality in simulating natural phenomena.

i want a flash format file that simulated the stone skipping.(or other format like 3dmax, maya,...).is there anybody help me?
thanks a lot.

Assuming you're not doing this for a research project or something, it would be much easier for you to just approximate it based off of your intuition. Nobody would be able to tell the difference, and stone skipping is a rather complex phenomena (that isn't even fully understood yet, in the sense that there are still people who do related research on it).

Hello! Let's say I have a cavity resonant at 10 GHz with a Q factor of 1000. Given the Lorentzian shape of the cavity, I can also drive the cavity at, say 100 MHz. Of course the response will be very very weak, but non-zero given that the Loretzian shape never really reaches zero. I am trying to understand how are the magnetic and electric field distributions of the field at 100 MHz relative to the ones at 10 GHz? In particular, if inside the cavity I have some structure, such as 2 plates...
