How Can a Physics Forum Assist a New Astrophysics Student?

Hi,
as you have probably gathered from context, I am new here. I am a masters student in physics from India, currently looking for a PhD.
My interests are in astrophysics, hep and cosmology. All in all, I have lots of questions and very few answers, and I am hoping PF will help me with that.
