Hello all!

I am here because I seek assistance and knowledge from all those who may have a better understanding of physics than I do! I am currently taking my first ever physics course as a requirement for a mechanical engineering undergraduate degree, and although it is proving to be very challenging, I am absolutely loving it! I feel like the equations I am doing in the class are applicable to the real world, and that makes it seem worthwhile!

A few things about me:
I play guitar.
I enjoy progressive styles of music.
I am a dog dad to a pembroke welsh corgi and great dane.
I am a UofL student.
I love coffee.
I love backpacking and hiking.

Hello everyone, I'm Cosmo. I'm an 18 years old student majoring in physics. I found this forum cause I was searching on Google if it's common for physics student to feel like they're in the wrong major in the first semester cause it feels like too much for me to learn the materials even the ones that are considered as "basic math" or "basic physics", I've initial fascination with the universe's mysteries and it disconnect with the reality of intense, foundational mathematics courses required...
