SUMMARY

The discussion focuses on the usage and creation of CGNS (CFD General Notation System) files, which are essential for computational fluid dynamics applications. Users are encouraged to refer to the extensive documentation available on the official CGNS website, specifically the user guide at this link. The conversation highlights the importance of understanding the software's purpose and functionality before diving into file creation and manipulation.

PREREQUISITES
  • Familiarity with CGNS file structure and purpose
  • Basic understanding of computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
  • Knowledge of software documentation navigation
  • Experience with relevant software tools for CFD analysis
NEXT STEPS
  • Review the CGNS user guide available at this link
  • Explore the official CGNS website for additional resources and updates
  • Learn about the integration of CGNS files with CFD software tools
  • Investigate best practices for creating and managing CGNS files in simulations
USEFUL FOR

This discussion is beneficial for CFD engineers, software developers working with CGNS files, and researchers involved in fluid dynamics simulations.

You're probably better off asking that on a software forum. I don't really know what this software is for (Something to do with databases from what I've just glimpsed) but if you look through there site there seems to be extensive documentation and a users guide. Maybe start there?

What exactly is it you're trying to do?

PS: Title spelling fail. :P

Edit: Nevermind, this seems to be a software forum too! (Just saw Computer and Technology section)
