How Does Engaging in Scientific Forums Benefit Biologists?

How did you find PF?
I was exploring a scientific article about ants and political parties and ended up in PF.
I am a biologist and was delighted to find a forum that (for the most part) tries to stick to scientific explanations and rationales.

Hello everyone, I'm Cosmo. I'm an 18 years old student majoring in physics.
