Hello, if I was using an 800Mhz carrier which was modulated with the range of frequencies 200Hz-3.3khz, what would be the total bandwidth ?

Would it be 3.1Khz * 2 = 6.2kHz or would it be 6.6kHz ?

Thanks for any help.

Figure it out for yourself.

Assuming a.m., what do you get when you modulate sin(ωct) with sin(ωmt)?

By "bandwidth", assume the total required spectrum for your a.m. carrier.

The clue is the word 'total'...you can disregard the lower modulating frequency of 200Hz
Would you know how to find the width of the 2 sidebands if you were asked?
