I was going to ask which country, since Canada and Mexico have a Senate, and others as well.

I can readily name 24, maybe 25, US senators, and some former ones. Three republican and one independent/democratic Senators have been candidates for president this year.

Waste of brain space. Who cares? I don't think that knowledge would come in handy even at a cocktail party. I think the only value of knowing the names of US senators starts and stops right here in this thread

The only one I could think of was Rubio, but I think he's not even in the Senate anymore. Barbara Boxer?

Two of the four I know plus an Illinois candidate (2016) crashed my email account although I cannot elect them ... And the worst thing is, even if I could I won't.

Yeah, I had forgotten he was in at the beginning. He placed in Iowa, but that was about it. He dropped out of the race two days after the Iowa caucuses.
