To calculate the volume of the shape in question, which includes a frustum of a right circular cone, the appropriate formula is provided in the linked resource. The volume of the cylindrical sections can be calculated using the formula (Pi/4*D2*L). The discussion highlights the need for clarity on how to compute the volume of the frustum specifically. Participants express gratitude for the assistance provided. Understanding the volume calculation for both the cylinder and the frustum is essential for accurate results.

please i need help at that attached image of round shape as shown,

my questions is what is the formula which used for calculating the volume of that shape?, the cylinder of D1, and D2, , easily can be calculated by (Pi/4*D2*L), so how about in the middle?

will appreciate your replies,

Thanks in advance

What mathematics software should engineering students use? Is it correct that much of the engineering industry relies on MATLAB, making it the tool many graduates will encounter in professional settings? How does SageMath compare? It is a free package that supports both numerical and symbolic computation and can be installed on various platforms. Could it become more widely used because it is freely available? I am an academic who has taught engineering mathematics, and taught the...
