Discussion Overview

The discussion revolves around how to draw a T-s diagram specifically for a cogeneration system. Participants are seeking assistance with the representation of temperature and entropy in this context, but the conversation highlights issues with clarity and completeness in the requests for help.

Discussion Character

  • Homework-related
  • Debate/contested

Main Points Raised

  • One participant requests help to draw a T-s diagram, mentioning they have found temperatures and entropies but are struggling with the instructional videos.
  • Another participant questions the vagueness of the request, asking for clarification on what kind of T-s diagram is needed.
  • A later reply emphasizes the importance of providing a complete problem statement and attempted solution to facilitate assistance.
  • There is a reiteration that the request lacks clarity regarding the specific type of cogeneration system involved.

Areas of Agreement / Disagreement

Participants do not seem to agree on the clarity of the initial requests for help, with some expressing frustration over incomplete information. The discussion remains unresolved regarding the specifics of the T-s diagram needed.

Contextual Notes

The conversation indicates limitations in the initial problem statements and the need for more detailed information to provide effective assistance. There is a suggestion that the rules of the forum regarding homework submissions are not being followed.

You request is vague. Draw what kind of T-S diagram?

One of the Rules of the HW forums is you should use the HW template and fill it out completely.

Sorry. I've uploaed a picture of the template of the diagram

The t-s diagram is for a cogeneration system

Maybe I haven't provided a clear explanation of the Rules.

In order to receive help, you must post the complete problem statement and an attempted solution.
Posting the problem in dribs and drabs is wasting everyone's time, including your own.

How are we supposed to know what kind of co-generation system you are supposed to draw?

This is Physics Forums, not Psychics Forums.
