How to store the energy produced by piezoelectric generator

Click For Summary
SUMMARY

The discussion focuses on the challenge of storing electrical energy generated by a piezoelectric generator, specifically from a gas stove lighter that produces 800 volts with negligible current. The key objective is to find methods to increase the current output to effectively store the energy in a battery. Participants suggest exploring energy harvesting techniques and refer to resources that provide insights into improving energy capture and storage.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of piezoelectric materials and their properties
  • Knowledge of electrical circuits and energy storage systems
  • Familiarity with voltage and current conversion techniques
  • Basic principles of energy harvesting
NEXT STEPS
  • Research methods to increase current output from piezoelectric generators
  • Explore energy storage solutions such as supercapacitors and lithium-ion batteries
  • Learn about voltage regulation techniques for efficient energy transfer
  • Investigate energy harvesting systems and their applications

My project is about to store the electrical energy produced by the gas stove lighter.
I search and found that the gas lighter may produce 800 volt and 0 current.
So now I need to know how to increase this current and store into the battery.

Plz give me some idea...
