AI Thread Summary
The discussion revolves around the need to read and convert .CNF, .TKA, and .IEC files, specifically from a gamma spectroscopy machine that analyzes various materials. The .CNF files are identified as related to this equipment, and resources such as a specific website for .CNF files and a paper on LabVIEW solutions are suggested for further assistance. Additionally, checking the Genie2k website is recommended for potential utilities and operating manuals that may provide further guidance on handling these file types.

Can you provide more info on the file usage so we know what CNF, TKA and IEC mean?

So, in the absence of a longer-term solution that might involve a replacement, is there any way I can activate the power button, like with a paperclip or wire or something? It looks...
In my discussions elsewhere, I've noticed a lot of disagreement regarding AI. A question that comes up is, "Is AI hype?" Unfortunately, when this question is asked, the one asking, as far as I can tell, may mean one of three things which can lead to lots of confusion. I'll list them out now for clarity. 1. Can AI do everything a human can do and how close are we to that? 2. Are corporations and governments using the promise of AI to gain more power for themselves? 3. Are AI and transhumans...
