When a loop is rotated in the opposite direction by the same amount, the change in magnetic flux will have the same magnitude but will have the opposite sign. This means that while the strength of the magnetic flux change remains constant, its direction reverses. Participants emphasize the importance of understanding the relationship between rotation direction and magnetic flux. The discussion highlights the need for clarity in explaining concepts related to magnetic fields and loops. Overall, the key takeaway is that reversing the rotation direction alters the sign of the magnetic flux change.

? again... clarify man. 3rd post I've seen from you with not enough info.

The book claims the answer is that all the magnitudes are the same because "the gravitational force on the penguin is the same". I'm having trouble understanding this. I thought the buoyant force was equal to the weight of the fluid displaced. Weight depends on mass which depends on density. Therefore, due to the differing densities the buoyant force will be different in each case? Is this incorrect?
