Homework Statement

From the phase diagram what can be said of the porosity, mechanical strength, and density of various materials in the diagram?

Homework Equations

The Attempt at a Solution

I am having trouble finding research on the general properties of quartz, feldspaar, and clay mineral substances.
Is it correct that quartz heavy materials tend to be more dense and hard. And feldspaar tends to be more porous but less dense? What general trends exist for quartz, feldspaar, and clay heavy materials?

Thanks a lot!
