Computational Introduction to Computational Physics Texts?

Click For Summary
For those starting graduate school and seeking to improve their understanding of computational physics, several resources are recommended. A key suggestion is to explore the Open Source Physics website, which offers a collection of Java code for physics simulations, along with an accompanying book that provides further insights. Additionally, a specific textbook titled "Computational Physics" is highlighted as a valuable resource, available for purchase on Amazon. For beginners, engaging with these resources can provide a solid foundation in computational physics concepts and programming skills.

Hi all,

I'm starting graduate school and really need a better handle on computational physics. I'm not extremely experienced with MATLAB and haven't used Python or anything else. Does anyone know a good textbook to get me started? I looked in the textbooks links to this forum thread and the "Introduction to Computational Physics" link doesn't work (404 error).

If you can't suggest any textbooks, how would you recommend me beginning to learn and get a handle on computational physics? Thanks in advanced!
