The discussion centers around Bob Lazar, who claims to have reverse-engineered alien technology at Groom Lake, Nevada. Participants express skepticism about his educational credentials, noting a lack of records from institutions like MIT or Caltech, which raises questions about his credibility. Despite this, some acknowledge that he has passed certain tests indicating he may have worked at Groom Lake. The conversation shifts to the implications of his claims, particularly regarding element 115, which he alleges is crucial for anti-gravity technology. Participants debate the feasibility of building such technology, the potential motivations behind government cover-ups of alien existence, and the scientific validity of Lazar's assertions. The discussion also touches on the stability and practical applications of newly discovered elements, with some participants expressing doubt about their utility. Overall, the thread reflects a mix of skepticism, curiosity, and speculation regarding Lazar's claims and the broader implications of alien technology.

LAZAR REAL

Most of these posts i read about Bob Lazar really don't know what they are talking about and haven't studied his past thoroughly. There are pieces of evidence him and George Knapp came up with that still cannot be disputed to this day. One was a W-2 tax form that stated he was employed for the Office of Naval Intelligence and the second one was the infamous Los Alamos that claimed he never work there but yet Bob Lazar with the help of George Knapp produced a phone book directory that listed BOB LAZAR as an employee of Los Alamos with his office phone number. Both of these organizations claimed Bob Lazar never worked for them, he just might be telling a hint of truth.

just to be clear, what does the government have to gain or protect us from by covering up the existence of aliens? what would be their motivation to initiate a conspiracy/cover up?

cheers,
phoenix

Here's a totally hypothetical reason to cover up existence of aliens.

The usa govt's found alien crafts and actual aliens. They want to hide the technology so they can fully understand it and apply it towards american purposes. There would obviously be much reason to hide brand new alien technology, as the USA govt's hidden the existence of plenty of its own technology (most notably the stealth bomber) for prolonged periods of time. If aliens were publically confirmed to exist by the USA govt, it would be the biggest thing that's ever happened in the history of humanity. There'd be a lot of information the public would want to know about aliens, there'd be demand to make contact with them, advance the space program dramatically, the whole nature of our society would change rapidly and the whole nature of how the govt acts would have to change accordingly. The usa govt may asses that it's better to cover this up and have the govt focus on terrestrial matters rather than worrying about aliens.

Wow, most of you still have no idea what you are talking about. You sound like you wish you all did but you just don't care to do your homework. The GOVERNMENTs of the world have a very big reason. The alien "situation" is bigger then you will expect. I won't get into it on a post forum because it requires debate. There is just too much to account for the subject of government acknowledgment-just way too much. I do have theories from what i have done in the past. PLZ feel free to instant message me on AOL or AIM at screen name - Hoganstern123 if you want me to put an end to any theory or ideals that you may have. Oh and wasteofo2,your synopsis of the present "situation" concerning the subject at hand is more difficult and abroad then what you have described in the last post. I am not trying to be superficial as a new member but I am not going to deny the quality of a good debate.:frown:

ps
Oh, and Bob Lazar never tried taking any credit for ELEMENT 115. If you listened to all 7 of his interviews on tape, you would know. Let's try not to discredit a good source if one is not willing to do the their homework.

Of course it is, I wasn't trying to list every reason for the government to cover up alien's existence, but whoever I quoted didn't think there was any reason to cover up aliens, I was just trying to show that even with only vague and small examples that there's plenty of reason to cover up aliens.

This is alittle off subject BUT if this debate forum is worthe anything, one thing that should be implemented is the end of needless dramatic statements some of us like to throw into our posts. The whole purpose to this debate is to define each other to the best of our ability but to be as dull as to add useless **** is pethetic and a waste of time. My only other opion to those is go continue watching Xfiles, your life may feel worthe while after every commercial.

How do you know, if you claim that the government is managing such a good conspiracy? Why should we trust you? From what you have said, it seems very probable that you are one of them... You could be an alien yourself. Disprove that!

So somehow I am guessing I am am the person who is putting out disinformation when you can easily find the info i put out anywhere if you look with an attempt?? Once again, do your homework and turn off the Xfiles.

element 115 discovered?

Just heard on a news program that elements 115 and 113 have been made and physicists are waiting for conformation from another institute before naming them.

Now maybe we'll find out if element 115 has its own gravity.

A team of Russian and American scientists will report today that they have created two new chemical elements, called superheavies because of their enormous atomic mass. The discoveries fill a gap at the furthest edge of the periodic table and hint strongly at a weird landscape of undiscovered elements beyond.

In the New York times article on that, they say that 113 has been given the name "Ununtrium" and 115 has been given the name "Ununpentium"

Yes, but I think the “Un” will be replaced with a name. Probably one in recognition for the discoverers.

So it would be like Smithunpentium, or would it be smithpentium?

  • #44
I'm just guessing here. I'm thinking "smithpentium".

elementation

Wether or not Elements 113 and 115 are truly discovered this time, there intended application as we know it won't be so easy.dont expect much and if you are - ur loss...
