I am supposed to design an astable multivibrator and run a simulation using NI Multisim and then construct it on an ELVIS board. Could you check if I am doing all of this correctly?

Hi Miss P. If the results agree with theory, then you can be confident of your connections.

The voltage levels seem as expected. What about the frequency? Does it agree with your calculations?

Monitoring the waveform across the timing capacitor will supply confirmation of its correct working, if you know what to expect.
