AI Thread Summary
Navigating multi-page threads on mobile can be challenging, as options are limited to next, previous, and last buttons. Users can bypass this limitation by modifying the URL, adding "&page=X" to jump directly to a specific page. This method works for any page number, providing a quicker way to access content. On desktop, page numbers are visible, making navigation easier. The discussion highlights the difference in functionality between mobile and desktop versions.

A thread has like 10+ pages. Is there any way to jump pages. All options I see are next, previous and last. Do I have to press the next button repeatedly to get to the middle pages?

The regular layout has page numbers at the right side, both above and below the posts.
If the mobile style does not have that, you can still mess around with the URL: Adding "&page=4" to the URL takes you to the 4th page of the thread (this is possible with all numbers, of course).

Anyway, I finally got a paper on the same matter as discussed in those forum threads, the fat lens model, got it peer-reviewed, and IJRAP...
About 20 years ago, in my mid-30s (and with a BA in economics and a master's in business), I started taking night classes in physics hoping to eventually earn the science degree I'd always wanted but never pursued. I found physics forums and used it to ask questions I was unable to get answered from my textbooks or class lectures. Unfortunately, work and life got in the way and I never got further the freshman courses. Well, here it is 20 years later. I'm in my mid-50s now, and in a...
