Hello everyone,
I would like to know if i can find in any of the Landau's books a chapter ,part concerning the flexible string ( differential equation , normal modes , stading waves ) ? I have tried to see but i can't find anything . There is a chapter concerning sound waves in a medium ( volume fluid mechanics ) but nothing about flexible string ?
Thank you for your answers

Best regards ,
