I am almost done with 5 years bachelor of nuclear engineering, is it a good idea to switch to computational engineering, since that it will open more opportunities?

One you really should complete your degree ie don’t just drop it.

Two you could augment it with some computational courses.

You could then market yourself as an engineer with nuclear and computational skills.

Have you spoken with your career advisors? They would have a better understanding of the job market.
