Hello! I'm excited to be in this forum.
My name is Daniel, I'm a high school senior who loves physics. I plan on majoring on Aerospace Engineering(maybe a double major or a minor in physics, but not sure yet), and my dream school is Stanford.
I'm mainly planning to use this forum in asking about concept of physics. Not really homework problems, but more conceptual questions.
I'm looking forward to meeting everyone here :)

Hey Daniel, welcome to the forum. This is a great place to learn about physics. There are lots of folks here who really know their stuff and if by some weird chance they can't answer your question, I'll just make stuff up for you :oldlaugh:

One of the things that I found most helpful when I joined the forum was rather than asking questions about a subject, first do a forum search on that topic and read several threads on it. That's not as good as working your way through a textbook but it's better than just asking random questions and it will likely give you a basis for asking better focused questions.

Hello everyone, I was advised to join this community while seeking guidance on how to navigate the academic world as an independent researcher. My name is Omar, and I'm based in Groningen The Netherlands. My formal physics education ended after high school, but I have dedicated the last several years to developing a theoretical framework from first principles. My work focuses on a topological field theory (which I call Swirl-String Theory) that models particles as knotted vortex...
