Maxwell 3D Analysis error -- please somebody help with the error

Click For Summary
The discussion revolves around a "Surface recovery failure" error encountered in Maxwell 3D analysis, attributed to issues such as multiple objects with thin layers, overlapping models, or skewed surfaces. Users are advised to consult the software's help forum for common errors and solutions. It is suggested to check for overlapping surfaces and other potential causes listed in the error message. Additionally, removing components from the analysis can help identify the source of the error. Troubleshooting through systematic elimination is recommended to resolve the issue effectively.

hi dear friends

i face with this error in Maxwell 3d analysis

please help me

Surface recovery failure. Possible reasons: (1). Model has multiple objects with thin layers. (2). Complex model with object overlapping. (3). True surfaces are skewed

I think your question is very specialized. It would probably be better if you checked the website for the software product to see if there's a help forum or common errors section.

Beyond that try to see if you indeed have overlapping surfaces or any of the other listed possibilities.

Also you could remove a component from your analysis and see if the error goes away. Some times in programming we do that by commenting out a line at a time until we locate the error.

I am trying to understand how transferring electric from the powerplant to my house is more effective using high voltage. The suggested explanation that the current is equal to the power supply divided by the voltage, and hence higher voltage leads to lower current and as a result to a lower power loss on the conductives is very confusing me. I know that the current is determined by the voltage and the resistance, and not by a power capability - which defines a limit to the allowable...
