SUMMARY

The discussion centers around starting a project in COMSOL Multiphysics, specifically focusing on geometric modeling as the initial step. Participants suggest that after establishing the geometry, the next phases should include defining boundary conditions and initial conditions. Although one user admits to not having prior experience with COMSOL, they confidently outline a structured approach to tackle the problem presented.

PREREQUISITES
  • Basic understanding of COMSOL Multiphysics software
  • Familiarity with geometric modeling techniques
  • Knowledge of boundary conditions in simulation
  • Experience with initial conditions in physics-based modeling
NEXT STEPS
  • Explore COMSOL Multiphysics geometric modeling tutorials
  • Research best practices for setting boundary conditions in COMSOL
  • Learn about initial conditions and their impact on simulation results
  • Review case studies involving COMSOL Multiphysics applications
USEFUL FOR

Engineers, researchers, and students who are beginning to use COMSOL Multiphysics for simulation projects, particularly those interested in geometric modeling and setting up simulations effectively.

Do you understand the problem? I would start with geometric modelling. Boundary conditions and intial conditions would follow. I have not used comsol, but I think that is the way to go.
