"OP" to me, means "opening post" or "original poster", so I'm mystified.

You can still see it?
See what? The OP?

I can on my lappie:

Seems fine on my phone too.

But again, I don't know what I'm looking for.

There used to be an icon marking the person who was the OP. I was thinking it was the green blob on your avatar, but that shows "online". The OP badge was on the avatar but it was something else.

Dave, as Ibix said, you are seeing the "on line now" icon (the little green circle). That's NOT an OP icon.
To be clear, at no point was there a mention of what exactly was missing - not until post 7, and even then it was just a description, not a location. I had no idea what to look for. I thought at first, the entire opening post was missing. It was all a bit cryptic.

Anyway, it's moot - it got sorted - so don't worry about it.
