SUMMARY

The discussion centers on the challenge of overlaying theoretical functions onto measured data points using OriginPro software. The user seeks assistance in effectively displaying both the simulated curve and the actual measurement points on a single graph. Specific techniques for achieving this visualization in OriginPro are required to facilitate comparison between theoretical and empirical data.

PREREQUISITES
  • Familiarity with OriginPro software
  • Understanding of graphing techniques in scientific data analysis
  • Knowledge of theoretical functions and their application
  • Basic skills in data visualization principles
NEXT STEPS
  • Research how to overlay multiple datasets in OriginPro
  • Learn about using OriginPro's graphing tools for curve fitting
  • Explore the process of importing and plotting measured data points
  • Investigate tutorials on theoretical function plotting in OriginPro
USEFUL FOR

This discussion is beneficial for researchers, data analysts, and scientists who utilize OriginPro for data visualization and need to compare theoretical models with experimental measurements.

So I have a problem. I have a measurement of several different points and I would like to compare that to the theoretical function.

I'm not expert in origin. I've tried with simulated curve, but I cannot get the points and curve on the same graph :\

How can I do that?

Thanks...
