I started getting this popup a few says ago. Is this something from PF or is it something on my computer? Never seen this before.
Thanks

What does it mean about "app"? Is that the old PF mobile app that was deprecated a couple years ago?

I don't know. I'm seeing this on my PC, not on my (android) phone. When the popup appears, I just use the "back" button and it disappears for a day or two.

What happens if you click the "Uninstall app" button? If it's something left over from the old mobile app (even though it's on your PC), maybe that will get rid of the recurring message.

I have been afraid to try that. I would feel better if anyone here on PF said they have seen this before. Otherwise it seems like clicking links in unsolicited emails.

Update:
I was wrong, the popup *does* appear on my phone as well as on my PC. Yesterday I clicked the "OK" button and now my app icon is labeled "PF"

This is for the web app since I shorted the name on our backend. It is legit.
