Hi everyone,

i am new to this and am struggling badly on a distance learning module for Subsea technowlogy.

The question is.

Find the equation for equivalent stress for a 3 dimantional stress regime? and when would this equation be required?

I really would apreciate some info on this, i am in the dark.
