Homework Statement


A particle is moving in one dimension in a potential V(x,t). The wave function for the particle is... and then the equation is given..

Show that V is independent of t, and determine V(x).

I don't know where to start? How do I go about showing that an explicitly given wave function has a potential independent of time?

you know Schrodingers equation right? that is an equation involving the wavefunction and the potential (hint, hint)
