PSPice Student 9.1 users are encountering issues when trying to create a new simulation profile, as the program does not accept any names entered. The option to "Inherit from an existing profile" appears, but users are unsure what to select. To successfully initiate a circuit simulation, it is recommended to start from Capture Student by navigating to File -> New -> Project. This method bypasses the issues faced in the simulation profile creation. Proper guidance on using the software is essential for effective circuit simulation.

I downloaded PSPice student 9.1 and when I open the program and press File -> New -> Simulation Profile it doesn't allow me to put any name that I try to put. Also, underneath the name space it mentions something about "Inherit from an existing profile". What do I put there? Thank you all very much.
