Ok, so here is my question. Basically I believe that frequency and amplitude have no effect on each other. But in a black body, the intensity of the radiation is directly affected by the wavelength. With the intensity being the square of the amplitude, and wavelength being the inverse of the frequency. DOes that mean that frequency affect amplitude, or am I not understanding something correctly.

The intensity is different for different frequencies, but I would not say "frequency affects the amplitude".
If you travel, your position depends on the time, but does time affect your position?
