Is it possible to rearrange headings for unanswered threads so that the "Forum" name appears first? I've responded to HW threads that were misplaced elsewhere a number of times, and it seems to me that having to read "selected forum" first might help first responders make note of misplacements for the moderators.

Physics news on Phys.org
When you say headings, are you referring to this: Forums > PF Lounge > Feedback and Announcements

RyanH42, https://www.physicsforums.com/threads/whats-the-error-in-o_t-t-total.829853/ , Cosmology
I was thinking, given a "live" example, of a rearrangement to show forum first,

Do you refer to the box "Newest Unanswered Threads (xx)" on the forum index?

Methinks "mods" and users see different screens ---
--- eight "stickies" up top, reading L to R, "My PF, Inbox, Alerts, Forums Chat, Insights, Info. Search; hit forums, and get a list of seven items, "Mark forums read, ... , new posts, Unanswered Threads;" hit UA, and up come unanswered threads, (level) title first, OP, time, forum.

Ah, so you mean https://www.physicsforums.com/unanswered/threads. Would have avoided some confusion to mention that in the first post.
Not sure if switching the order would help.

switching the order
Just in terms of longer posts --- get sidetracked by problem/content, and have no clue what sub-forum "you're/me're" replying in. Then someone says "It should be HW, Wyncha report it?"
I pull it from UA, reply to alerts, and can be done discussing a topic without "opening/browsing" a sub-forum.

There are at least three completely different ways to see unanswered threads.

At the moment forum name isn't even a column, so not at this time.

That's what I wanted to know. Thank you.
