Hi guys. I want to know if anybody can tell me a program which helps to do draws and diagrams. I want to do figures like those what appear in electromagnetic and waves book. For example, draw an arrow and label the angle with a line as "alpha" or thinngs like it.

Thank you.

Welcome to PF, Jga.
I use Adobe Illustrator for everything from cartoons to technical draughting, but it might be 'overkill' for what you want. CorelDraw and Keydraw! are similar, and you could likely do your stuff in Photoshop as well. I have no familiarity with any other graphics programmes, but there must be a few that are more specifically designed to serve your particular needs.

You could try http://www.inkscape.org/screenshots/index.php?lang=en&version=0.45 [Broken] for general vector drawing, and http://live.gnome.org/Dia/Screenshots for diagrams. Both are free and available for Windows.

2. What types of drawings can be created with a scientific draw program?

A scientific draw program can be used to create a wide variety of drawings, including diagrams, charts, graphs, anatomical illustrations, molecular structures, and more. It is capable of producing both 2D and 3D images with precision and accuracy.

3. What are the benefits of using a scientific draw program?

Using a scientific draw program can save time and effort compared to creating drawings by hand. It also allows for easy editing and manipulation of images, as well as the ability to add annotations and labels. Additionally, scientific draw programs often have advanced features such as data integration and analysis.

4. Is a scientific draw program user-friendly for non-scientists?

While a scientific draw program may have a steeper learning curve for non-scientists, many programs have user-friendly interfaces and tutorials to help users of all levels. With some practice and familiarity, anyone can learn to use a scientific draw program.

5. Can a scientific draw program be used for presentations or publications?

Yes, many scientific draw programs have export options that allow images to be saved in various formats, making them suitable for presentations and publications. Some programs also have templates specifically designed for scientific research and publications.
