Sources for Physics Research Paper on Rotational Blade Motion on Helicopter

AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on finding reliable sources for a research paper about the rotational motion of helicopter blades. The author has completed PHY-200 and plans to reference chapters on rotational motion from the University Physics Volume 1 textbook by OpenStax. Recommendations include using Google Scholar for research articles and specific links to resources such as the FAA's Helicopter Flying Handbook and articles on helicopter rotor systems. The thesis focuses on propeller design and the role of rotational motion in helicopters. The author seeks guidance on additional reading materials to support their research.

TL;DR Summary: I am writing a research paper on the rotational motion of the blades of a helicopter. Does anyone know of any good reliable sources for articles, videos, or research papers on this topic?

Hi!
I am writing a research paper on the rotational motion of the blades of a helicopter. I have just started studying for my associate's in science degree and have completed PHY-200. I used the University Physics Volume 1 textbook by OpenStax. I plan to utilize chapters 10 and 11 in my paper since those chapters are related to rotational motion, along with other chapters that have rotation in them. Does anyone know of any good reliable sources for articles, videos, or research papers on this topic? I was told about arxiv.org. This is the first physics research paper I've had to write. This is my thesis (I am still working on it): "My proof, not experiment, is an examination of propeller design in helicopters and reasons behind the choices made; and how rotational motion is involved in this."
Basically, I want to write about helicopters and rotational motion but have no idea what to read for this.
Thank you!
If I didn't explain my question well, please tell me. :)

Welcome to PF.

Often when you want to focus your search on research articles and similar sources, you can use Google Scholar for the search. You can see the search I did in the screenshot below -- maybe try that search to get you started, and you can refine your Google Scholar search as you get closer to what you are looking for.

Kindly see the attached pdf. My attempt to solve it, is in it. I'm wondering if my solution is right. My idea is this: At any point of time, the ball may be assumed to be at an incline which is at an angle of θ(kindly see both the pics in the pdf file). The value of θ will continuously change and so will the value of friction. I'm not able to figure out, why my solution is wrong, if it is wrong .
Thread 'Correct statement about a reservoir with an outlet pipe'
The answer to this question is statements (ii) and (iv) are correct. (i) This is FALSE because the speed of water in the tap is greater than speed at the water surface (ii) I don't even understand this statement. What does the "seal" part have to do with water flowing out? Won't the water still flow out through the tap until the tank is empty whether the reservoir is sealed or not? (iii) In my opinion, this statement would be correct. Increasing the gravitational potential energy of the...
Thread 'A bead-mass oscillatory system problem'
I can't figure out how to find the velocity of the particle at 37 degrees. Basically the bead moves with velocity towards right let's call it v1. The particle moves with some velocity v2. In frame of the bead, the particle is performing circular motion. So v of particle wrt bead would be perpendicular to the string. But how would I find the velocity of particle in ground frame? I tried using vectors to figure it out and the angle is coming out to be extremely long. One equation is by work...
