Student Friendly Quantum Field Theory by Klauber

In summary, "Student Friendly Quantum Field Theory by Klauber" is a book that aims to simplify and make the complex topic of quantum field theory more accessible for students and beginners. It is suitable for non-physics majors and uses a more intuitive and visual approach to explain concepts, with more examples and exercises. While some knowledge of quantum mechanics may be helpful, the book is self-contained and includes necessary concepts and equations. It can be used as a standalone resource, but it is recommended to supplement with other resources for a more comprehensive understanding.

Astonishingly good pedagogy. Complete derivations, the author literally takes time to explain EVERYTHING. This is what a true textbook should be, at this level. This is not classical mechanics, if he ignores some details, and you don't see them for yourself, your understanding can get really messy in the future. On the whole I STRONGLY RECOMMEND this book for self-study.
