Welcome to PhysicsForums. Your thread is now in Moderation (hidden) until we can sort this out.

As written, your question makes no sense. Please do not assume that all of our Homework Helpers have access to your textbooks or online resources. You really need to fill out the Homework Help Template (problem statement and relevant equations) to help us understand the problem. And you need to show your best efforts to start working the problem before we can offer tutorial help.

So please try again -- what is the exact problem statement, what are the relevant equations, and what have you done so far to try to work on the problem?

BTW, Section 1.8 has problems; Section 1.9 has the solutions. Does that help?
