Three String Tension Problem - 3 Dimensional

    Three String Tension Problem --- 3 Dimensional

    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data

    A 5kg mass is suspended by three strings. The mass and strings are placed inside a cylinder. The strings are attached to the wall of the cylinder.

    String 1 is 4m long and is attached to the wall 2m above the mass.

    String 2 is 1.5m and is attached to the wall 1m above the mass. String 2 is attached 115degrees around from string 1.

    String 3 is 2m long and is attached to the wall 1.25 m above the mass. String 3 is rotated 220 degrees from string 1.

    Find T1, T2, and T3

    f=ma?

    3. The attempt at a solution

    I figured out 3 equations... and i think they are all wrong

    Maybe you are right... how can someone tell if you don't show them?
