AI Thread Summary
Methods to make a metal positively charged include isolating it from the ground and using light with photon energy greater than its work function. Chemical methods, such as using batteries, can also achieve this effect. The discussion highlights the importance of providing complete information when asking questions to facilitate better assistance. Additionally, the use of devices like a Van de Graaff generator is mentioned, although it may not achieve large-scale positive charging. Overall, various techniques exist for inducing a positive charge in metals, both physically and chemically.

Many years. I'm no longer allowed to touch things more delicate than myself. :(

Take a look at a Van de Graf generator too.

played long back but in that i guess we can't make a metal positively charged in a huge extent

is there any method to make a metal positively charged easily in a large scale

Isolate the metal from ground, and shine a light with photon energy larger than its work function. Viola! You have a metal that is positively charged!

I believe we call them batteries.

Next time, when you post a question, try to present it in as complete of a manner as possible. I still don't think you're telling the whole story here, and the quickest way to annoy members who are trying to help is to give them only bits and pieces of information as you go along.
