Hi, I'm new to the forum.

I'm retired, and my knowledge of physics is limited to one year of college physics over 50 years ago, plus whatever I've picked up from books and publications for general readership over the years.

I'm looking forward to reading the discussions here, and maybe posing some questions that I hope won't be too dumb.
