I have drawn the following shear force diagram however it says it is wrong. Could somebody please explain to me what is wrong with it. The points in the diagram are 0 then -4 then 1.25 then 1.25, then back to 0.

Looks good to me, I don't see anything wrong with it.
 
thanks, that is what i thought. It must be the way i have entered it in or something, i am going to try it again
 
it turns out there had to be another line of discontinuity (blue line) at 12 metres which seems rather pointless
