hello everyone, I’m trying to put beside memes some more valuable time :)

I hope to give and get some help with Physics: I’m currently doing my 1st year of PhD in Italy but this August I’ll relocate to the USA and start a new one there;

See you soon!

Hello Francesco, and welcome to PF!

Just out of curiosity: in which field in physics are you pursuing your PhD?

Make sure you explore all the main parts of PF:

1. The main forums, that you see in the first page.

2. Insights Blog, available at the top row (header section). It contains articles that help in learning topics to a great extent.

3. The videos, also available in the header section. The media gallery now has some great videos in almost every aspect in science, and they provide an audio-visual learning experience.

I assure you that you will have a great time here.

With regards,
Wrichik.

Thank you Wrichik!

I’m not sure of what I’ll end up doing, but depending on availability (other than my actual ability) I would like to do something related To Quantum Gravity

One of the fields I'm extremely interested in, though I know nothing in it (perhaps that's what makes it all the more exciting!)

Hello everyone, I'm Cosmo. I'm an 18 years old student majoring in physics. I found this forum cause I was searching on Google if it's common for physics student to feel like they're in the wrong major in the first semester cause it feels like too much for me to learn the materials even the ones that are considered as "basic math" or "basic physics", I've initial fascination with the universe's mysteries and it disconnect with the reality of intense, foundational mathematics courses required...
Hi there! This is Vmax, an old (relatively, but the profession can definitively accelerate aging) aerospace engineer now returning to physics in my 50s. I can definitively use some help in refreshing long forgotten topics and guidance in tackling new challenging subjects in modern physics. I'm looking forward to engaging in interesting, informative and stimulating conversations with you all. Have a great day!
