Homework Statement

An object with a charge of -3.6μC and a mass of .012KG experiences an upward electric force, due to a uniform electric field, equal in magnitude to its weight. Find the direction and magn. of the field, and if the charge is doubled while its mass remains the same, find the direction and magn. of its acceleration.I really have no idea what this is. Is there an equation for uniform electric fields? I don't really even understand direction or magnitude of fields in this problem.

Oh and sorry it's a non-calculus course.
