Hi there
My understanding is that any charge will produce some emf when it is accelerated..is this always true? What is this law called? Is there a simple equation to relate charge size, acceleration rate and resulting emf frequency?

Many thanks

yes

from wiki ...

Maxwell's equations describe how electric and magnetic fields are generated and altered by each other and by charges and currents.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maxwell's_equations

have a read of that and other related articles

coming to understanding that will take the next few years
I don't even begin to understand it all

Dave

EDIT
PS ... I just noticed you used the term emf frequency ... am assuming you really meant
E/M electromagnetic field
