Homework Statement

(10 points) Consider a six-sided die that is loaded so that numbers 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are all equally likely to appear, and 1 is three times as likely to appear as 2.
(a) What is the probability of rolling a 2?
(b) What is the probability of rolling a 1?
(c) What is the probability of rolling an even number?

Homework Equations

The Attempt at a Solution

3p+p+p+p+p+p=8p
P(1)=3/8
P(2)=1/8
P(3)=1/8
P(4)=1/8
P(5)=1/8
P(6)=1/8
a)1/8
b)3/8
c)3/8
Okay these answers seem way to0 simple for a 10 point question, what did I do wrong?

Nothing is wrong.

Anyway, I guess you mean "too simple", not "to simple".
