What is the purpose of joining a scientific forum as a 50-year-old man?

Hi, I am 50... years old man trying to help in a questión read in one of the articles.
So, now that I had been registered in this fórum (sorry, spanish corrector sometimes gets bored) , will take a tour to visit you, learm and help (if i can).
