I am a ex firefighter , I might not know much about physics but I've been right in the middle off it .

I can't tell you much I guess but I've lived life in the fast lane you might say, firesevice , very fast morotrbikes , skydiving , mountaineering and climbing and kayaking ... most action sports ...a single father of a young 6 year old girl ...so other than those things I am probably not going to be much help probably not on those subjects either, But I like to think and absorb thinks that are interesting to me . ?? I'll surely answer questions , but possibly with a don't know .

Hello everyone, I'm Cosmo. I'm an 18 years old student majoring in physics. I found this forum cause I was searching on Google if it's common for physics student to feel like they're in the wrong major in the first semester cause it feels like too much for me to learn the materials even the ones that are considered as "basic math" or "basic physics", I've initial fascination with the universe's mysteries and it disconnect with the reality of intense, foundational mathematics courses required...
