Hello everyone,

I am François from Montréal, Québec. I just graduated from a BSc of Earth and Atmospheric Science. I am starting a MSc in atmospheric (or environmental) science in september.

I had a lot of physics during my degree and I am doing physics right now this summer as I am doing an internship in data assimilation.

My favorite part about physics is fluid dynamics. I am studying the Korteweg De Vries equation at the moment.

Have a great day everyone!

(I apologize for my bad english as the language I use everyday is french)

Hello everyone, I'm Cosmo. I'm an 18 years old student majoring in physics. I found this forum cause I was searching on Google if it's common for physics student to feel like they're in the wrong major in the first semester cause it feels like too much for me to learn the materials even the ones that are considered as "basic math" or "basic physics", I've initial fascination with the universe's mysteries and it disconnect with the reality of intense, foundational mathematics courses required...
