Depends what you mean by express your own thoughts. You can express pretty much anything you like on PF, so long as it fits within the reasonable requests our rules make.

As far as I know there at least tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of forums on the internet.

Google was choking on them. In the end I just blocked Google from visiting them.
