Hi, I am new to this forum, so forgive me if this is a really obvious question.

I am a high school student interested in doing a project involving differential equations, and vector analysis (basically calc 1 - III, linear algebra, and a bit of differential equations). I will use this program to create a lot of 3D graphs.

So I was wondering what program would you recommend for me to do this project: MatLab, Maple, Mathematica, or Mathcad? Or any other programs that aren't listed.

Since this will be my first math program, will I need to learn anything before using these programs such as C++, or java (because i googled mathematica screenshots, and it looks a lot like java)?

And if so, can you please me specific and list me the prerequisites for the said program?

Thank you in advance.
