...Then the busy years went rushing by us
We lost our starry notions on the way
If by chance I'd see you in the tavern
We'd smile at one another and we'd say

Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
For we were young and sure to have our way.
La la la la...
Those were the days, oh yes those were the days...

 I think I'm going to have to test that on the neighbor's kids if they're out too early on the weekends.

No, but this is:
Penguin hunting season opens June 21st!

Mmmmmmmmm, nothing like roast penguin with lots of ketchup on it.

I find it strange to have penguin season starting the first day of summer.

Well, nuts. I wish that I'd been the first respondent to this thread, because all that I could think from the title was that it was a retroactive question.

Yup, titled By the Long Road you can have a listen here (just scroll down to the title, nice Balalaika rendition)...
With my very rough Russian it looks like it would be pronounced something like Dorogoi Dlinou

McCartney ... 64? Hmmm Tempus Fugit folks..

Kind of ironic - I just turned on the CBC and heard a new version by a Nine To Fiver that had Mary Hopkin singing harmony and a Russion folk band on the end fade.

So will Paul still be singing that song ten years from now?

Or does getting divorced at 64 answer the question once and for all?
