It was the greatest movie everto be aired on CBS

Did anyone else see it? Man if you were dumb enough to think "oh man this movie sucks" before the ending, you missed tremendous amounts of concentrated sweetness. One thing that I don't understand though, for people who did see it, is why the ending ended like it did. Is this show still on the air with new episodes? If the series is over, why would it end like that?
